ABB have completed the build and subsequent testing of the inverter drives to be used for motor speed control at ACC’s calibration facility in Dammam. The drives are now boxed and ready for shipment.
Successful completion of FAT for ACC’s data acquisition and control system Factory Acceptance Testing of ACC’s calibration facility’s data acquisition and control system has been successfully completed. With extensive travel restrictions in place due to Covid-19, the witnessing was carried out remotely thanks to measures.
ACC have signed the lease agreement and are moving in to their new facility at MODON’s Dammam Industrial Zone 2. “There’s some work to do before we move in, but the project really starts now” said Dr Phil Mark. “There will be regular news updates as the project progresses over the coming months.”
